Bradley G. Hummert, P.E., S.E. | President and Chief Structural Engineer
Brad manages all aspects of structural evaluation and designs related to transportation and infrastructure projects ranging in scale from major interstate highway structures to timber bridges. A graduate of Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, he is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa; and licensed structural engineer in Illinois.
Scott A. Rakers, P.E. | Vice President and Chief Transportation Engineer
Scott’s transportation experience includes the total highway design process, from design reports through construction period services. He leads the project financing effort, staying abreast of Federal and State grant and loan programs. He also leads projects in parks and recreation, stormwater management and railroad-roadway grade separations. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, he is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois.
Brian R. Buchheit, P.E., BCEE | Vice President and Chief Environmental Engineer
Brian leads the environmental team in analysis, planning and design of water and wastewater facilities. He leads the project financing effort, staying abreast of Federal and State grant and loan programs. Brian has a B.S. in General Engineering from the University of Illinois and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. And, he has received specialty certification as a Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE) in water supply and wastewater engineering by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.
Douglas J. Ratermann, P.E., P.L.S. | Vice President and Director of Surveying
Doug is head of surveys, GIS and mapping operations. He also provides expertise in streets, drainage and parks/recreation projects. Both a Licensed Professional Engineer and Licensed Land Surveyor in Illinois, Doug is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
David W. Rodden, P.E. | Principal, Senior Environmental Project Manager
David has nearly 40 years experience in water and wastewater facilities planning, water quality modeling, hydraulic modeling, process design, rate studies, and project management from concept to facilities startup. He also serves as managing agent for professional engineering and the company’s chief financial officer. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Illinois, Arkansas and Florida, he holds a B.A. in Plant Physiology from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis.
